Getting Started

Account Setup

Create your Fonify account, configure your workspace, and invite team members.

Account Setup

This guide walks you through creating your Fonify account, setting up your first workspace, and inviting teammates. The entire process takes about five minutes.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure you have:

  • A valid email address (or a Google account)
  • A business name for your workspace
  • The email addresses of any teammates you want to invite

Create Your Account

Navigate to app.fonify.co and click Sign Up. You will see options to register with email or continue with Google.

Email registration: Enter your full name, email address, and a password (minimum 8 characters). Click Create Account. You will receive a verification email — click the link inside to confirm your address.

Google sign-up: Click Continue with Google and authorize Fonify in the Google consent screen. Your account is created instantly with no email verification needed.

Tip

If you plan to invite teammates, consider using your company email domain. This makes it easier to manage your team later.

If you registered with email, check your inbox for a message from Fonify. Click the verification link to activate your account. The link expires after 24 hours.

Check your spam or junk folder if you do not see the verification email within a few minutes. If it still does not arrive, return to the login page and request a new verification email.

Return to app.fonify.co and log in with your credentials. You will be directed to the workspace setup flow.

Set Up Your Workspace

A workspace is the top-level container for everything in Fonify — your assistants, campaigns, contacts, and team members all live inside a workspace. You can create multiple workspaces to separate different businesses or departments.

After your first login, Fonify prompts you to create a workspace. Enter a name that identifies your business or team (e.g., "Acme Corp Sales" or "Downtown Dental Clinic").

Provide basic information about your business:

  • Industry: Select from the dropdown (e.g., Healthcare, Real Estate, E-commerce, Financial Services)
  • Company size: Approximate number of employees
  • Primary use case: What you plan to use Fonify for (outbound sales, appointment scheduling, customer support, etc.)

This information helps Fonify tailor the onboarding experience and suggest relevant templates.

Select the default interface language for your workspace. Fonify currently supports English and Turkish. Each team member can override this in their personal settings.

The interface language is separate from your assistant's spoken language. Your assistant can speak in any supported language regardless of the interface setting.

Review your workspace settings and click Create Workspace. You will land on your new dashboard, ready to configure your first assistant.

Invite Team Members

You can invite colleagues to collaborate within your workspace. Each member gets a role that controls what they can access.

From the dashboard sidebar, navigate to Settings > Team. Click the Invite Member button.

Provide the email address of the person you want to invite and select their role:

RoleCapabilities
ManagerEverything, including member management, subscription, API keys and webhooks
MemberCreates and edits assistants, contacts, campaigns and documents; cannot delete them or open the management screens

Tip

Start with the Member role for most teammates. You can always upgrade their permissions later from the team settings page.

Click Send Invite. The invitee receives an email with a link to join your workspace. If they do not have a Fonify account yet, the link takes them through registration first.

Back on the Team page, you can see pending invitations and their status. You can resend or revoke an invitation at any time before it is accepted.

Switch Between Workspaces

If you belong to multiple workspaces, you can switch between them using the workspace selector in the top-left corner of the sidebar. Click your current workspace name to see a dropdown of all workspaces you have access to.

Note

Each workspace has its own credit balance, billing settings, and team roster. Assistants, campaigns, and contacts are not shared across workspaces.

Account Security

A few recommendations to keep your account secure:

  • Use a strong, unique password if you registered with email
  • Enable two-factor authentication (coming soon) when it becomes available
  • Review team access periodically and remove members who no longer need access
  • Use Google sign-in if your organization already enforces Google Workspace security policies
