Getting Started

Dashboard Tour

A walkthrough of the Fonify dashboard — widgets, navigation, and key metrics at a glance.

Dashboard Tour

The Fonify dashboard is your command center. It gives you a real-time overview of call activity, campaign performance, and account health. This guide walks through every section so you know where to find what you need.

The left sidebar is your primary navigation. It stays visible across all pages and contains the following sections:

The sidebar has five sections. Each heading is a group; the entries under it are screens.

SectionScreensPurpose
CustomersDirectory · Requests · CalendarContact database, support requests and appointments
CommunicationCalls · Bulk Call · WhatsApp InboxCall history, outbound campaigns, WhatsApp inbox
AssistantAI Employees · Test Employee · IntegrationsBuilding, testing and connecting assistants
TrainingBusiness Info · Products · DocumentsThe knowledge your assistant speaks from
SettingsAccount & Organization · Subscription · HelpProfile, workspace, plan and support

Note

There is no separate "Analytics" screen. Overall analytics live on this page; per-campaign analytics live on that campaign's detail page.

Tip

The sidebar can be collapsed by clicking the toggle icon at the top. This gives you more screen space when working on detail pages.

Dashboard Widgets

The main dashboard area displays several widgets. Each one surfaces a different metric or view.

Call Volume Chart

The largest widget at the top shows your call volume over time.

  • Time range: Toggle between 7 days, 30 days, and 90 days using the buttons above the chart
  • Data shown: Total calls per day, broken down by outcome (completed, voicemail, no answer, failed)
  • Hover details: Move your cursor over any bar to see the exact count for that day

The call volume chart updates in real time. If a campaign is actively running, you will see the bars grow as calls complete throughout the day.

Recent Calls

A table below the chart lists your most recent calls with key details at a glance.

ColumnDescription
ContactName and phone number of the person called
AssistantWhich AI assistant handled the call
DurationLength of the conversation
SentimentAI-detected tone (positive, neutral, negative) shown as a colored indicator
OutcomeResult tag (completed, voicemail, no answer, busy, failed)
TimeWhen the call occurred

Click any row to open the full call detail page with the transcript, the data extracted from the conversation, and the call metadata.

Note

Call recordings cannot be played from the panel for privacy reasons. If a recording needs to be reviewed, contact support.

Tip

Use the search and filter controls above the table to find specific calls. You can filter by assistant, date range, sentiment, or outcome.

Sentiment Analysis

This widget provides a summary of caller sentiment across your recent interactions.

  • Pie or donut chart showing the distribution of positive, neutral, and negative sentiment
  • Trend indicator comparing this period to the previous one
  • Sentiment is analyzed automatically from call transcripts using AI — no manual tagging required

Sentiment analysis works on the full transcript, not just individual phrases. A call where the contact starts frustrated but ends satisfied may still score as "positive" overall, reflecting the successful resolution.

Setup Progress

For new accounts, a setup progress widget appears on the dashboard showing your onboarding status.

It tracks milestones such as:

  • Account creation
  • Workspace configuration
  • First assistant created
  • First test call completed
  • First campaign launched
  • Knowledge base uploaded
  • Team member invited

Each completed step is checked off. Click any incomplete step to jump directly to that section. The widget disappears automatically once all steps are done, or you can dismiss it manually.

Quick Stats Cards

A row of summary cards shows key metrics at a glance:

Total Calls

The total number of calls made in the selected time period.

Avg. Duration

Average call length across all completed calls.

Success Rate

Percentage of calls that resulted in a "completed" outcome.

Credits Used

Total credits consumed in the selected time period.

Active Campaigns

If you have campaigns currently running, a widget lists them with real-time progress:

  • Campaign name and assigned assistant
  • Progress bar showing how many contacts have been called out of the total
  • Current status (running, paused, scheduled)
  • Quick action buttons to pause, resume, or view details

Top Bar

The top bar contains:

  • Workspace selector (top-left): Switch between workspaces if you belong to more than one
  • Search (center): Global search across contacts, assistants, campaigns, and calls
  • Notifications (top-right): Bell icon showing recent system events (campaign completed, credit balance low, team member joined)
  • Profile menu (top-right): Access your account settings, language preferences, and sign out

Customizing Your View

Most dashboard widgets respect a global date range selector. Change the period to focus on the last 7 days, 30 days, or a custom range. The charts and stats update accordingly.

Key Workflows from the Dashboard

The dashboard is not just for viewing — you can take action directly:

See an unusual sentiment score in the recent calls table? Click the row to open the full transcript and read how the conversation actually went, then decide if your assistant needs adjustment.

Check the active campaigns widget for progress. If a campaign has a high failure rate, click into it to review settings, contact list quality, or scheduling.

The credits used card shows consumption. Click it or go to Settings > Billing to see your remaining balance and purchase more if needed.

If the setup progress widget is visible, use it to pick up where you left off. Each step links directly to the relevant page.
