Getting Started

Make Your First Call

Test your AI employee, review the transcript and summary, then adjust the settings that are available in the panel.

Make Your First Call

Once your AI employee is ready, the next step is a controlled test. The goal is to verify how it sounds, how it opens the call, and whether it uses your documents correctly.

Before You Begin

Make sure you have:

  • A prepared AI employee (see Meet Your AI Employee)
  • A phone number you can safely test with, or a browser microphone
  • Credits if you plan to use a real outbound call

Real phone-call tests consume credits. Start with web mode or your own number before testing any live workflow.

Start the Test

Go to Assistant > AI Employees and open the employee you want to test.

The fastest option is Test Employee, which gives you three modes:

  • Web for quick browser-based testing
  • Inbound if you want to call the assigned number yourself
  • Outbound if you want Fonify to call a number you enter

Listen to the opening, ask an unexpected question, pause for a few seconds, and interrupt once to see how the employee behaves in a real conversation.

Test Employee

Open the dedicated guide for the three testing modes.

Review the Result

When the test ends, open Contacts > Conversations and inspect the call detail.

Transcript

Read the full text of the conversation with speaker turns.

Summary

Check the short AI-generated summary and outcome.

Captured Information

Verify that the expected fields from the conversation are populated.

Call Outcome

Confirm whether the call completed, hit voicemail, or ended another way.

Note

Call recordings cannot be played from the customer panel. Use the transcript, summary, and call detail to evaluate the result.

OpeningDid the employee introduce itself clearly and correctly?
